Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE racing wheel and pedals

The Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE Racing Wheel and Pedals is designed for sim racing on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and compatible Windows PCs. The system combines a steering wheel, integrated wheelbase, accelerator pedal, brake pedal and clutch pedal in a complete wired racing-control package.

This is the Xbox and PC edition of the G923. It should not be described as the PlayStation version, even though Logitech produces a visually similar G923 model for PlayStation and PC.

The G923 provides up to 2.3 Nm of force-feedback torque. Logitech’s TRUEFORCE system connects with supported games to process physics and audio information for more detailed steering feedback. TRUEFORCE functionality depends on individual game support and is not available in every racing title. Compatible games that do not support TRUEFORCE may use their standard Logitech force-feedback implementation instead.

TRUEFORCE high-definition force feedback

TRUEFORCE is designed to reproduce changes in road surface, tyre behaviour, vehicle balance and other supported in-game effects through the steering wheel. Logitech states that the system processes compatible game data at a one-millisecond rate.

The wheel’s closed-loop motor-control system monitors the current supplied to the motors and adjusts output according to information received from the game. The strength and character of the feedback depend on the game, vehicle, selected settings, platform, firmware and software configuration.

TRUEFORCE should not be presented as direct-drive technology. The G923 is a 2.3 Nm force-feedback racing system and occupies a different performance category from Logitech’s higher-torque direct-drive racing products.

900-degree steering rotation

The Logitech G923 supports up to 900 degrees of lock-to-lock steering rotation. This allows the wheel to reproduce a wider steering range for compatible road cars, racing vehicles and simulation titles.

The steering system incorporates a Hall-effect steering sensor and an overheat safeguard. Steering range, sensitivity, centring force and feedback levels may be adjusted through supported games or Logitech G HUB on a compatible PC.

Programmable dual-clutch launch control

The wheel includes programmable dual-clutch launch-assist functionality for supported games. This feature is intended to help manage traction during a standing start by allowing the clutch response to be configured through the wheel controls.

Dual-clutch functionality requires compatible game support or appropriate PC configuration. It should not be represented as universally available across every Xbox or PC racing title.

Integrated racing controls

The steering wheel provides Xbox-compatible controls positioned around the wheel face, allowing supported menus and game functions to be operated without repeatedly returning to a conventional controller.

The G923 also includes an integrated selection dial, centre marker, shift controls and stainless-steel paddle shifters. The exact function of each control depends on the game and platform. Some controls may be reassigned through in-game settings or Logitech G HUB when connected to a compatible Windows PC.

An integrated RPM indicator is available in supported games. Rev-light operation depends on whether the game provides the required telemetry data.

Hand-stitched leather and metal construction

The G923 wheel uses anodised aluminium spokes, a steel steering shaft, brushed stainless-steel paddle shifters and a hand-stitched leather wheel cover. Logitech uses glass-filled nylon for the mounting clamps and cold-rolled steel for the pedal frames and arms.

The integrated table clamps allow the wheelbase to be attached to a suitable desk or racing-wheel stand. Installation stability depends on the thickness, rigidity and surface design of the selected desk or mounting platform.

The system may also be installed on compatible racing stands and simulation cockpits. Buyers should confirm mounting dimensions and hardware requirements with the stand or cockpit manufacturer before purchase.

Three-pedal floor unit

The included pedal unit provides separate accelerator, brake and clutch controls. The progressive nonlinear brake pedal is designed to require increasing pressure as it is depressed, providing a more pressure-sensitive braking response than a basic linear pedal.

The pedal base includes a textured heel area, a patented carpet-grip system and self-calibrating controls. Performance and stability depend on the flooring surface, seating position and mounting arrangement. Securing the pedal unit to a compatible stand or cockpit can provide a more stable installation for heavier braking inputs.

The supplied pedal system is not Logitech’s separate PRO Racing Pedals product and should not be described as a load-cell brake system.

Xbox and Windows PC compatibility

This version of the Logitech G923 is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and supported Windows PCs. On PC, Logitech specifies Windows 10 or Windows 11, a USB 2.0 port, approximately 150 MB of available storage and a compatible racing game.

Game compatibility varies. Customers should check Logitech’s current compatibility information and the requirements published by the individual game developer before purchase.

The product is not advertised for Xbox 360. This Xbox edition should also not be advertised as compatible with PlayStation consoles.

Logitech G HUB software

On a compatible Windows PC, Logitech G HUB may be used to configure supported steering and force-feedback settings, update device firmware and manage compatible game profiles.

The available options depend on the installed software version, operating system, firmware and game. Console configuration is normally handled through supported game settings rather than the full desktop G HUB interface.

Optional Driving Force Shifter

The Logitech Driving Force Shifter can be connected separately to expand the system with a six-speed H-pattern gear selector and push-down reverse function. The shifter is sold separately and is not included with this G923 wheel-and-pedal package. Logitech identifies the Driving Force Shifter as compatible with the G923, G29 and G920 racing wheels.

Product dimensions

The steering-wheel assembly measures approximately 270 mm high, 260 mm wide and 278 mm deep, with a weight of approximately 2.25 kg excluding cables.

The pedal assembly measures approximately 167 mm high, 428.5 mm wide and 311 mm deep, with a weight of approximately 3.1 kg excluding cables.

Included equipment

The package contains the Logitech G923 steering wheel and wheelbase assembly, three-pedal unit, external power supply and user documentation. A gear shifter, racing stand, cockpit, seat, console and PC are not included.
